Send, follow up and track opens
Send the proposal by email, or hand over its link another way. Then see when your customer opened it and read it to the end, and get an email each morning of who to chase.
The Just made card in Review & send, straight after you generate. Later, any proposal’s card in My proposals.
Send a test first
Press Send a test to me and send it to yourself or someone on your team. It’s free and never goes to the customer. Its link is marked as a test, lasts 48 hours and 5 opens, records nothing and can’t be signed.
Send by email
- On the Just made card, check the To address. Add CC or BCC if you need to (up to three each).
- Press Send the proposal. From My proposals, the button is Email it.
- It shows who it went to, and the button becomes Resend.
The customer gets an email under your consultant’s and your company’s name, with your price after incentives, the date it’s valid to and an Open your proposal button. Replies go to the consultant. The consultant gets a copy of what the customer received. The wording is yours to change in Admin → Sending.
The email carries a link, not an attached PDF. Attaching a PDF is coming soon.
Hand over the link instead
- On the Just made card: Copy link, WhatsApp it or Mark as sent another way.
- On a card in My proposals: Copy link or WhatsApp.
The first time, Jouli records the proposal as sent and shows Recorded as sent with the link to copy. WhatsApp needs a phone number on the job.
When a send is refused
A proposal won’t go out with no consultant on it, no customer name, a discount waiting for approval, or a price that has lapsed or moved since it was drafted. The message says which, and what to do. Usually that’s Refine it and send again.
Prepaid proposals
On a pack plan, the first time a proposal is handed over (by email, copied link, WhatsApp or marked as sent) it uses one prepaid proposal. The note beside the button says how many you have. Resends, refined versions to the same customer, and tests are free. With none left, a new proposal can’t be sent until your company buys a pack; drafts and resends still work. See pricing.
Track opens
- Open My proposals. Filter by Not sent, Sent · not opened, Opened, Signed or Voided.
- Each card shows Opened or Read to the end, when it was last opened and how many times.
- A card that says “email bounced — check the address” needs a new address. Send it again, or hand over the link.
An open counts only when the customer does something on the page: scrolls, taps or types. Your own previews from the cockpit never count. Read to the end means they reached the sign box. The Dashboard shows the same as a funnel, from sent to signed, and a list of who to call today.
Follow-up emails
Each consultant is emailed when their customer first opens a proposal, and when a proposal email bounces. Each morning they also get a list of their quotes opened three or more days ago with no answer, and quotes expiring within five days. Nothing is sent on a morning with nothing to chase.
Follow-up emails are on for every company. An owner can switch them off under Admin → People → Follow-up emails to consultants.
