The job sheet and battery site plan
Every proposal gets a job sheet for the crew, from the same design. It carries no prices. It’s live until the job is signed, then frozen at the signed version.
Install pack, in the Delivery group. A draft’s sheet is also under Review & send → Job sheet.
Find the job
- Open Install pack. Filter by Signed, to install, Booked, Installed or Not yet signed, or search by name, address or job reference.
- Check the job’s flags: which version the pack is at, “no roof layout”, “phase not set”, or a cancelled job marked “do not schedule”.
- Press Job sheet, Diagram or Proposal. Each opens in a new tab.
Operations staff open the cockpit on this tab and never see a price.
What the sheet prints
- The job reference, version and address. No customer name or phone.
- Warnings in a band: not signed (don’t order stock or book a crew), no roof layout, supply phase not set, a network assessment likely.
- System: solar, panels, battery, supply, the NMI, the network application and meter numbers, the retailer.
- Equipment to load and check, with a tick box per item.
- A Proposed string design where it can be worked out, marked “Proposed, not certified”.
- Existing installation: what’s there now and whether it stays.
- Site works: the extras on the job.
- Roof: the aerial photo with each panel numbered, positions to confirm on site.
- On a battery job, the Battery site plan and the installer’s check.
Add the network and meter numbers
On the proposal’s card in My proposals, press DNSP & meter and add the network’s application number and the meter number. They print on the job sheet, before or after signing.
Print it
Press Print / save as PDF at the foot of the sheet. It prints on A4 without the Jouli header, only the crew’s sheet. A Download PDF button made on the server is coming soon.
Draw the battery site plan
- On a battery job’s sheet, go to Battery site plan.
- Pick a marker: Battery, Inverter, Switchboard or Meter. Tap the plan to place it. The next marker is picked for you, so four taps place all four. The arrow keys nudge the selected marker.
- Type the Cable run in metres.
- Press Save the site plan.
Positions are indicative, to confirm on site. Saving makes no new version, and the customer never sees the plan. Under it, the installer’s battery location check prints empty, with lines for the installer’s name, accreditation number, signature and date. Whether the location suits the battery is the installer’s call.
An owner can draw the plan, and so can the job’s own rep where your company lets reps quote. Everyone else on the team can look.
The single-line diagram
Diagram opens an installer’s schematic drawn from the same design. Ratings it doesn’t hold print as TBC. It isn’t a drawing for a network application.
Site photos: coming soon
Switchboard, meter, battery-spot and roof photos taken from the job sheet aren’t switched on yet. Until they are, the sheet says “Site photos are not switched on yet.”
